Before you write
A few things that solve most issues:
- Prices look stale or offline? Pull to refresh on the Prices screen. The app shows the last cached rate with its timestamp when there's no connection.
- Biometric lock not appearing? Make sure at least one fingerprint is enrolled in your phone's system settings.
- Lost data after reinstall? GoldView stores everything on your device with no cloud backup — unfortunately there is nothing to restore from our side. This is a deliberate privacy trade-off.
Reporting a bug
Include your phone model, Android version, app version (Settings → About), and what you expected vs. what happened. Screenshots help a lot.
Feature requests
Tell us what's missing and how you'd use it — the roadmap is shaped by real usage. Multi-metal support, price alerts, and data backup/export are on the radar.
