These Terms govern your use of the GoldView mobile app (package io.nesin.goldview), published on Google Play by Nesin Technologies LLP. By downloading or using GoldView you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What GoldView is
GoldView is a tool for recording and valuing a physical gold portfolio. It shows estimated values based on gold prices fetched from third-party sources. It is not investment advice, financial advice, or a buy/sell recommendation, and it is not affiliated with any jeweller, bank, or gold dealer.
Your data, your responsibility
Your portfolio is stored only on your device. That means you are responsible for your data: there is no cloud backup, and uninstalling the app, resetting your device, or losing it can permanently delete your records. Keep your own copies of anything important.
Accuracy of prices and valuations
Gold prices shown may be delayed, cached, or derived from a single source, and may not match the rate quoted by any particular jeweller or exchange. Use valuations as estimates only — always verify actual rates and purity values with a professional before transacting.
No warranty
GoldView is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that prices will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nesin Technologies LLP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or savings, arising from your use of GoldView — including any loss resulting from reliance on prices, valuations, or the app's availability. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app, which is zero.
Acceptable use
Do not reverse engineer the app for unlawful purposes, attempt to disrupt the gold price service, or use the app in violation of applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
